A rifle for my wife...?
She was looking at a Smith and Wesson M&P AR-4...she loved shooting it but the price is out of my range...I looked at the new Ruger Mini-14's with the new front sight...i like it...anybody shot one yet?...(shes small framed and vertically challegened)
I take it by that you mean she is short?...yeah..I like the mini's...with the 20 rd mags they do fine...the 30's hang too far down to shoot from a prone position.....Id go for it...they run maybe 500 less than the S&W M&P...more if you know someone with a WalMart discount card...with that you can get one at WalMart for less than 600 tax and all
