Best rifle scope for scout?
I have a Savage rifle in .308 with feeler Forward mounting rail. I to hunt wild boar in some CA at some point, but I use it in a range mostly. Not more than 150 YDS shots for sure. I would like lighted scope to put on it, but should extend the eye relief. Very limited choices rifle scope; Nikon does not work and must return (not enough relief). Leupold is a scout rifle field, but it is not illuminated. I look at the gun field illuminated by a fine reticule. This option will work for this gun and if so, any suggestions for brand and model # s. Thank you. $ 300 - $ 500 range. N TASCO, Bushnell, or Chinese commie bullshit!

I do not know of any gun with a lighted field grids. The closest thing I can think is a gun range with Burris Electro geographical Dot net. This is a 2X7 scope with their gun complex reticle with red dots in the center of the cross hairs. Eye Relief is 11 to 21 inches. I know that the gun box with standard cross hairs work fine on my Win. 94 scout with the mountains. $ 399 to Cabelas shooting catalog is not a bad price as Given the quality.
